Coffee Time is a challenging exercise designed to improve problem solving and cooperation in teams. Each member of the team is given unique information which, when shared with the other team members, will help them to answer the question, "When is Coffee Time?". The information can be shared verbally but not visually. 
No individual in the team has enough information to be sure what the task really involves or how it may be done. The team must develop a common understanding about the nature of the task and the objective.
This game requires full participation from all group members.
Coffee Time is an excellent exercise to help team members understand the cooperative process, work more effectively in teams and to reach solutions to complex problems.
